The cooker hood specialist berbel - based in Rheine in Westphalia - has once again been honoured with a special award. The innovative Downline Infinity, which was only introduced in September, receives the ICONIC AWARDS 2022: INNOVATIVE INTERIOR best of best. “We are more than pleased that with the new, larger generation of the Downline, we have succeeded in setting new standards in the field of trough fans and intuitive cooking“, Markus Wegmann, Head of Sales at berbel, is pleased. With a width of 900 mm and an impressive depth of 550 mm, the Downline Infinity is ideally suited for kitchen islands.

Five knobs for controlling all basic key functions of the fan and hob can be added to the front of the hob cabinet as an extra feature. The perfect tool for keen hobby chefs who combine an optimal choice of functions with the materiality, feel and dynamics of a toggle knob. The intuitive operability comes from the robust and sturdy rotary knobs with high-quality detent mechanism that noticeably secures the shift position. The LED lighting of the knobs, which is coordinated with cooking, visually supports the cooking process by changing colour and brightness. The Downline Infinity is equipped with a powerful and energyefficient ventilation concept. A single fan paired with an aerodynamic separator unit ensure constant extraction power based on the revolutionary berbel principle. Odours and steam are extracted reliably through the inflow grids with its tilted bars. Patented technology at the highest level.
