Built-in hood Firstline U and headroom hood Smartline

The name berbel stands for engineering expertise that keeps setting new standards, and for product development that is carefully geared towards market requirements. The new built-in hood Firstline Unseen and the new headroom hood Smartline are perfect examples of this.

Handleless design, smooth lines, closed elements – the trade fair trend shows that many leading kitchen manufacturers present gapless front designs, and therefore rely on “invisible” built-in devices. The Firstline Unseen is berbel’s perfect solution for this. It combines powerful technology and a super-compact design. The built-in hood fits into wall cabinets with a height of just 360 mm and a cabinet depth of 300 mm and up, so it can be integrated virtually invisibly in modern, wall cabinets with a small depth. Thanks to easy-click-installation, the Firstline Unseen can also be easily retro-fitted in existing kitchens.

Despite the fact that the Firstline U is hidden completely inside a bottom-less wall cabinet, it can be operated conveniently and intuitively, via the concealed keypad. There are three switches for controlling the fan settings and dazzle-free LED light bar. The light temperature is infinitely variable to ensure pleasant ambient lighting.

Vapour capture is effectively supported by the BackFlow technology. Combined with the Capillar Trap and the berbel active carbon filter, this ensures optimum air cleaning efficiency. This model is available from September for the following operating modes: Recirculation with berbel active carbon filter; regenerative maintenance-free recirculation technology with berbel permalyt® and exhaust air. Available in 60 and 90 cm width.

Another new product is the berbel headroom hood Smartline with its matt black steel surface. The discreetly rounded edge profile makes for a particularly coherent and harmonious design. The exclusive look of the flue-less recirculation hood is proof of berbel’s nose for trends and it allows for even more freedom for individual young kitchen design.

The new Smartline’s attractive façade conceals proven and energy-saving berbel recirculation technology: The physically sophisticated shape, two supplementary CapillarTraps, and berbel active carbon odour filter combined with the berbel principle to ensure top air cleaning for boiling, frying, and steaming. Be impressed by the quality of the powerful and low-noise EC motor and berbel’s unparalleled BackFlow technology that reliably prevents condensate formation on the body and provides efficient capture of vapour. Two energy-efficient LED lighting strips radiate a pleasant and glare-free working light. The 3-level keypad with automatic afterrun function and lighting control can be operated intuitively.

The collection tray is made of high-quality stainless steel. It can be easily wiped out or removed and cleaned in the dishwasher. The Smartline headroom hood is available in 80 and 90 cm width, from December.
