Skyline Edge-Light - Floating downwards

berbel Ablufttechnik GmbH revolutionised the kitchen market, when the first generation of ceiling lift hoods was launched in 2011. Never before had there been a hood that floats down to the desired height at the touch of a button and that floats back up when it is no longer needed.

When the second generation of Skyline ceiling lift hoods was introduced in 2015, berbel showed once more what “masterful engineering made in Germany” is all about. That certain something was added to the new generation with a revised design, innovative technical features and a wide range of variants available. Another model has now been added to this generation.

The new Skyline Edge Light features the familiar Skyline look and it benefits from its two sister models’ sophisticated technology.

The hood’s effect lighting with warm-white LEDs creates an atmospheric lighting ambience in the kitchen, even when it is not in use. The dazzle-free LED hob illumination can be set to the desired lighting colour using a standard light temperature control and therefore offers the option of tailoring the hob illumination to the overall lighting in the kitchen. With its separately controlled effect lighting, the new hood is also an illuminated kitchen marvel.

The optional ceiling panel with mood lighting enhanced with glass cladding also creates a harmonious and atmospheric ambience in the room. The new Skyline Edge Light is available in 95 and 115 cm width.

The ceiling lift hood is now available in conjunction with the new berbel JetStream technology (patent pending) and the EcoSwitch function, which is new and unique from a technical point of view. EcoSwitch combines the advantages of the recirculation and extraction mode. Thanks to the revolutionary JetStream technology, the humidity and smoke generated from intensive frying are transported to the outside through the ceiling shaft with double the suction power and no need for annoying pipes. The floating elegance of the Skyline hood is retained.

All functions can be conveniently controlled using a smartphone. berbel has developed its own RemoteApp for this purpose that enables customers to operate the hood even more easily.
