Rheine, September 2023 – The extractor specialist berbel presents another highlight at this year‘s kitchen autumn. The basic model of the island hoods with lift function, the Skyline Edge Base, floats above the hob with a slim linear body. The new design gives the Skyline series a modern aesthetic and a sense of lightness. The slim shape is highlighted by a narrow light slot. The lift function allows a maximum height adjustment of up to 1200 mm to position the Skyline Edge Base at the perfect height above the hob. In addition to its effect lighting, the island hood is also equipped with powerful LED hob lighting. A wide range of intensity levels and colour temperatures allow users to create a variety of atmospheres: from warm and inviting through to a more contemporary, cool ambience.
Impressive lighting conceptThe colour temperature and brightness of the LED hob lighting are infinitely variable to allow for custom illumination. This is comple mented by the stylish effect light slot that provides for a pleasant atmosphere, making the lighting a design element in itself. Basic settings such as the lighting, lift height and fan level can be conveniently controlled using the remote control that is included in delivery. There is also an app that can be used to control the hood with a smartphone or tablet. All functions of the remote control are also available in the new berbel+ app that is connected to the Skyline Edge Base via Bluetooth. The app therefore allows for great flexibility and a clear overview when it comes to managing the selected settings.The island hood is available in a width of 100 cm or 120 cm and it comes with an attractive ceiling connection plate made of highquality stainless steel as a standard feature. Users can choose between an active carbon filter and a maintenance-free permalyt® filter. The Skyline Edge Base is available in matt black, black and white and can be integrated beautifully in any kitchen design.
